Simona Hodrea

A native of Romania, Ms. Simona Hodrea is a trilingual speaker of Romanian, English and Spanish, with working knowledge of French, Portuguese and Italian. In the summer of 2010, she joined SLTI as a Translation Manager, managing and overseeing a variety of translation projects. Ms. Hodrea has extensive experience in translation, translation management, and project management. She is also experienced with a variety of software, including SDL Trados and Adobe Creative Suite. She holds a Masters Degree in Music Performance and has also more than 10 years teaching experience in various settings.

Having lived abroad and experienced different cultures and lifestyles (Romania, Spain, Puerto Rico plus several US states), she developed the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment. Her advanced computer skills, accounting knowledge, customer service skills, and the ability to multitask under tight deadline are a true asset when dealing with the ever-expanding world of translation.
